Fayose demands panel report on SGF Lawal & NIA DG, threatens to sue Osinbajo Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose has demanded for the immediate release of the panel report on suspended Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr David Babachir Lawal and Director-General, National Intelligence Agency, Mr. Ayo Oke. Fayose, who is also the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors Forum chairman, made this demand in a letter addressed to Acting President Yemi Osinbajo. In the letter dated July 11, 2017 and received at the Acting President’s office on July 13, 2017, the governor also demanded that the Acting President must “act expeditiously on the report”. He also threatened to approach the law court to compel the Acting President to release and act on the report if he fails to do so. Abdulsalami: Maitama Sule told me to arrest him after 1983 coup Abdulsalami Abubakar, former military head of state, has revealed how the late Maitama Sule submitted himself for arrest after the 1983 coup. Abubakar, who was a brigade commander of the army at the time, said many politicians in the state were arrested. He disclosed this when he paid a condolence visit to Abdullahi Ganduje, governor of Kano, on Sunday. “I was at my office when Dan Masani (the deceased) came with his luggage.
